Clear Moisture-Barrier Pouches
For products that need visibility while still requiring a stronger moisture barrier than a basic film.
Clear barrier
Moisture barrier packaging
Keep moisture-sensitive products drier with flexible packaging designed to reduce water-vapor transfer through the pouch.
We can combine moisture-barrier films with stand up pouches, flat bottom bags, resealable zippers and custom printing for powders, snacks, coffee, seasonings and other dry products.
Barrier options
Choose the pouch structure by how sensitive the product is to humidity, how long it will be stored and whether the pack will be opened more than once.

Clear barrier
Metallic appearance
For dry products that need more moisture protection together with a metallic or opaque shelf appearance.
Metallized
Higher protection
For highly moisture-sensitive products where an opaque high-barrier laminate is justified.
Foil laminate
Multiple servings
Combine the barrier film with a zipper for products that are used over multiple servings.
Zipper optionApplications
Moisture control is especially important for products whose texture, flow or quality changes quickly in humid conditions.
01 / Powders
Helps reduce clumping, caking and flow changes during storage.
02 / Texture
Helps protect texture and crispness after packing.
03 / Aroma
Can combine moisture protection with aroma and oxygen barrier when required.
04 / Dry products
Useful for resealable retail packs that need consistent texture and storage stability.
Laminate selection
The moisture barrier comes from the full laminate, not just one layer. Choose the structure around product sensitivity, appearance and sealing needs.
PE-rich structureFlexible sealing option
A common option for heat sealing, flexibility and moisture resistance.
Metallized barrier structureMetallized barrier option
Can increase moisture barrier while changing the pouch to a metallic or more opaque appearance.
Foil barrier structureOpaque high-barrier option
Provide a very strong moisture-barrier option for sensitive products.
Clear barrier structureProduct-visibility option
Useful when the brand wants more product visibility without moving to an opaque package.
Reclosure performance
For multi-use products, the zipper becomes part of the moisture-control strategy after the original top seal is opened.
Keeps the pouch fully closed during distribution before first opening.
Lets the customer close the package again between servings.
Powder, crumbs or product residue around the seal can reduce closure performance.
Custom pouch options
Build the pouch around the product and the way customers will use it, not around a generic 'moisture-proof' label.
Stand up, flat bottom, flat pouch or compatible roll stock.
Standard, metallized, foil or custom moisture-barrier option.
Standard zipper, child-resistant reclosure, tear notch or sealed header where suitable.
Dimensions and fill volume matched to the product and shelf presentation.
Custom print, clear areas or full-opacity design depending on the material.
Barrier performance
Water Vapor Transmission Rate (WVTR) is used to compare how much water vapor passes through a film or laminate under defined test conditions. Lower WVTR generally indicates stronger resistance to water-vapor transmission.
Temperature, humidity and test conditions affect WVTR, so compare values measured under equivalent conditions.
The value for a single film layer does not automatically represent the finished pouch.
Set a practical target from the product and shelf-life need rather than choosing the lowest number by default.
It is packaging designed to reduce water-vapor transfer so humidity has less effect on the product during storage.
Powders, snacks, seasonings, coffee, tea, pet treats and other dry or hygroscopic products are common examples.
WVTR means Water Vapor Transmission Rate, a standard way to compare water-vapor transmission through films and laminates under defined conditions.
Yes. Resealable zippers are commonly used when the product will be opened and closed over multiple uses.
